The last weekend of September was certainly one to remember. After what many would argue was probably one of the best stretches of quality, consecutive surf in years, ACT partnered with the National Park Service and Ocean Conservancy to top the month off by giving back to the Island we cherish. Accompanied by a textbook fall day with crisp air, blue skies and a north breeze, the 2017 Coastal Cleanup was a success. With help from the local community, Salisbury University's Environmental Studies department, and some folks venturing to the Island from as far away as Maine, over 1.5 tons of trash were removed from Assateague!
