BOATING BASICS
Maryland's Coastal Bays are a summertime playground for boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming and swimming. Each of us needs to do our part to keep our waterways "swimmable and fishable." Please remember what goes in the water today ends up in our fish and shellfish tomorrow!
- Please remember to never let anything go overboard!
- Plastics are a growing pollution problem to our coastal watershed, please keep all lures, lines, and bags on board and dispose of properly when you dock.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species - keep a clean hull and trailer.
- Never dump sewage overboard, use pump out stations at local marinas.

CLEAN BOAT LINKS
Using GREEN cleaning techniques and products aboard our boats is a great place to start! Always remember to read the label, use products sparingly, and clean carefully and prevent products from entering the water. Try to choose less toxic cleaning alternatives for your boat.
