Assateague Coastal Trust and the Assateague COASTKEEPER, Sentinels of Eastern Shore Health (SESH), and the Wicomico County Branch NAACP will host a Community Forum on Wednesday, December 4th at the Chipman Cultural Center in Salisbury from 6 pm – 8 pm.

The forum is open to the public and will address the increased pollution runoff to Delmarva’s waterways in the context of a changing climate and subsequent sea level rise.

Panel speakers Carole Morison (Socially Responsible Agriculture Project), David Reed (Environmental Action Center), and Kathy Phillips (Assateague COASTKEEPER) will give a PowerPoint presentation on climate change, sea level rise and how this will impact pollution on the Lower Shore.

Join us for this important community conversation on why State policies and regulation must address Climate Change.  There will be time dedicated to discussion and we will have an action item to make your voice count in protecting clean water on the Lower Shore.

What: Community Forum To Address How Climate Change on the Eastern Shore Will Increase Pollution to Coastal and Chesapeake Bays
When: Wednesday, December 4th, from 6-8 pm
Where: Chipman Cultural Center, 325 Broad St in Salisbury Maryland
