Reflecting on this past winter and spring, we are grateful for the support we’ve received from the community. Your dedication to clean water and environmental stewardship continues to inspire us each day!
We are thrilled to share some of the highlights from our busy schedule from the past few months. From engaging fundraisers to enlightening workshops, it has been a time of growth and learning for all of us.
This winter and early spring, Assateague Coastal Trust hosted our Sip and Science Series. These fun and informative talks brought together individuals of all ages to explore topics ranging from composting and recycling to the fascinating correlation between tides and astronomy. The workshops, explored the connection between day-to-day activities and the impact they can have on our environment, empowering attendees to make positive changes in their daily lives.

Our journey doesn’t end there, in fact, this is just the beginning! Buoyed by the success of these events, we are excited to announce plans for more engaging workshops and activities in the fall. We will expanding the diverse lineup of speakers, including local experts, scientists, activists, and community leaders, to provide a comprehensive perspective on environmental issues and solutions. By featuring a range of voices and perspectives, we aim to foster dialogue and inspire collaboration among attendees. Stay tuned for for more information on these upcoming events – we can’t wait to share them with you!
None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our community partners. From providing venues for fundraisers and workshops to offering invaluable assistance behind the scenes, your contributions have been instrumental in our success. As we look ahead to the future, we are filled with optimism and determination. We are confident that we can make a meaningful difference in the continued fight for clean water and environmental preservation.
